We hadn't seen one in all of the fantastic collections we've had the privilege to examine, and Overstreet obviously shared our pessimism, as the Guide doesn't even list a value above 8.0. The book features Floyd Gottfredson's "Phantom Blot" storyline, which premiered in the funny papers. This is the sort of copy that disappears into a private collection never to be seen again, so make sure it disappears into <I>yours</B></I>! Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value (highest value listed) = $14,200.
