<B>Four Color #147 Donald Duck in Volcano Valley (Dell, 1947) CGC VF- 7.5 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> Donald and the boys go down to South America in this classic Carl Barks comic. Finding nice-condition copies of <B>Four Color</B></I> issues from this era, especially those featuring Barks art, can be tough, as these books tended to be read and reread by their youthful original owners. Plus the matte-finish cover stock used during this time didn't hold up well in most cases. That makes this attractive copy all the more desirable! Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $723.
