Canadian radio broadcaster (1902-1985) most famous for his play-by-play calls for Hockey Night in Canada. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1965. Glossy 8 x 10 photo of Hewitt posing on a hockey bench, signed and inscribed in the lower border in blue ballpoint “Jim:- Sincerely, Foster Hewitt.” Several scattered creases and surface marks, and a bit of light skipping to signature and inscription, otherwise fine condition.
