Featured in this lot are these two fossilized megaladon shark teeth found in South Carolina, USA. The Megaladon was a very large shark that lived 2-7 million years ago. It is the largest carnivorous fish known to have existed. They were able to reach the size of a school bus and have teeth up to seven inches in length. The first tooth shows an all black color and nice triangle shape with worn down serrated sides. The second tooth shows the same shape with a lighter grey color and darker grey attachment point. The tooth also shows the same worn down serrated edges. Both teeth show good condition with no signs of obvious damage. The black tooth measures 2 5/8" W x 3 1/8" L, while the more grey tooth measures 2 1/2" W x 3 1/4" L.
