Cordier<BR><BR> The Goddess standing holding a cornucopia, with one arm raised over her head, wearing a draped gown carved in Algerian onyx, with head, bust, arm, cornucopia and legs cast in bronze with deep brown patination. The base signed <I>C</B></I>. <I>Cordier</B></I>. Raised on a red-veined marble pedestal.<BR><BR>Provenance: 1987 private collection, Germany; June 10-13, 1988, Sotheby's, London, no. 47W, September 27, 1991, Sotheby's, London, no. 13 (<I>Fortuna</B></I>). In <I>Facing the Other, Charles Cordier (1827-1905) </B></I>by Laure de Margerie and Edouard Pepet, published by Harry N.
