Track and field athlete (1914-1991) who was the 1936 Olympic champion in the 110 m hurdles, and broke the World Record in that event three times. Program from the Spec Towns Retirement Dinner, held on March 19, 1976, 8.5 x 11, signed on the front cover in black ink, “Forrest ‘Spec’ Towns,” and also signed again on the first inside page on the photo of Towns’s gold medal performance in the 1936 Olympics. In fine condition.
