Forehand and Wadsworth 7-shot .22 caliber revolver, blue finish, varnish rosewood grips, last patent date 1861, serial #27538. These early spur trigger revolvers were used in the Civil War and the early frontier period. This example shows 30-50% original blue that is evenly drifting and toning, with just some areas of light pitting and beginning normal age. The grips are good to very good showing 60% varnish, wear at the edges, good markings, good overall. A scarce and good qualit early spur trigger. Est: $400 - $800

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. International buyers pay all shipping costs including shipping to exporter, shipping internationally, all custom & duty fees, etc. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
