<B>Fore-Edge Painting on an 1802 </B></I><B><I>Book of Common Prayer</B></I></B></I> (London: John Reeves, 1802). The beautiful fore-edge painting on this book depicts presumably an Italian bay scene, with several frigates, a couple of gondolas full of hearty passengers, and a cityscape in the background. The rear cover has become detached, minimally affecting the very bottom of the fore-edge painting, but not to a noticeable degree, else good.
