<B>For the Love of Mike (First National, 1927).</B></I> Title Lobby Card and Lobby Card (11" X 14"). A young Claudette Colbert was noticed in a Broadway role of an unsuccessful play by talent agent Leland Heyward, who suggested her for a role with Frank Capra in this silent film, now believed to be lost. The film was a box office flop but would be a stepping stone to one of Colbert's and Capra's greatest films, <I>It Happened One Night</B></I>, the winner of five Academy Awards seven years later. The title card has soiling to the borders and some staining in the lower left corner. The scene card has similar soiling and staining, primarily within the borders. This was Capra's third directorial effort.
