The piece features a hand crafted Folk Art model house and yard made entirely of toothpicks. The piece was made by disabled Millworker James Harry McClintick (died 1951) for his daughter Suzanne S. McClintick. This shows a covered wood box top that removes to shows an excellent model of a country home. House made entirely of toothpicks (the grass is green toothpick shavings) with the exception of "a little cellophane and cardboard". RARE. Box is 5.5"t and 8"x11". Story typed by the creater and father inside the box reads, "The House of Pix: Constructed entirety of cocktail toothpicks, with the exception of little cellophane and cardboard, while an invalid with the use of right hand and thumb of left. Two months in building. Between 4800 & 5000 pieces not including grass, which is made of the shavings from green toothpicks.
