Made available in this lot for your consideration is a hand carved, folk art Native American Indian chief whirly-gig weather vane with a wonderful age. The chief is sitting contently in his kayak, with arms crossed. The Chief and his kayak sit atop a directional base. The chief is adorned in traditional Native American garb, including full head dress, and war shirt. The whirly-gig originates from the early to mid 1900's, and shows good condition overall. When placed on his stand, the set measures 24 3/4" tall, 20 1/2" long, and 14 3/4" deep.
