Space memorabilia to the first commercial mission of 1992

The space flight Europe-America 500 was the first private mission which took place in the cooperation with Russian Foundation for Social Inventions and TsSKB Progress on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of America’s discovery by Columbus.

The booklet about the beginnings of the developments of space missiles by Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky has flown with this mission and was accredited with the mission stamp. It is written in Cyrillic, dates to 1915 and was published in Kaluga.

The certificate was issued in honor of the historic first flight of the spacecraft ‘Resurs-500’ from the European continent to North America that took place in November 1992. The certificate is inscribed in Cyrillic in black pen and numbered ‘01498’.



Both documents depicts traces of wear and age. There is marginal wear and they are slightly soiled. The dimensions are max. 21 x 29.7 cm.
