Flintlock tinder lighter, circa 18th century, possibly American, in overall good condition showing an uncleaned dark patina on metal surfaces, wood grip stock with interesting maker or owner mark “EH” carved in stock just behind the frame’s top tang; approx. 8” overall; good action; small candle holder on left side of frame; hardwood grips shows carving on butt and is in overall good condition with lovely wear and patina. Most every home in Colonial America had one of these to provide light in the darkness of night. Est.: $400-$800.

Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence.
