Flintlock officers style pistol converted to percussion signed “D. Egg, London” circa about 1790-1810. The pistol measures 14” overall with an 8” barrel of approximately .67 caliber. The metal surfaces show some light cleaning and scattered pitting and erosion. The lock and barrel are well signed in fancy script letters and this is an original signature. The stock shows typical checkering by this maker in his distinctive pattern. The stock is good with minor dings, mars and scratches. Est.: $750-$1,500.
