Flintlock Harpers Ferry rifle in-barrel conversion (Belgian-style cone type) to percussion, .69 cal., 42” barrel, full wood stock, iron ramrod, sling swivels, lockplate dated 1831; V, P and eagle head proofs on barrel at breech along withan M and 43; good action, good stock showing an old coating of varnish that has now checkered from age; a partial cartouche and inspector’s marks visible on the left side of the stock above the trigger.
