Kozlak only did three covers for this title, plus a few others for other DC titles, but his work looks awfully nice on this outrageous copy. We say outrageous because, at this writing, only two other copies have scored higher than FN+ 6.5 in CGC's census. Both of those copies earned VF/NM 9.0 grades, pretty good, but clearly inferior to this special offering. The Golden Age version of <B>The Flash</B></I> just doesn't turn up in Near Mint very often, in any issue. This one could escape detection from a few of your competition bidders. Don't overlook it yourself! Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $875. <B>Estimate: $1,500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
