Nice collection of historic and collectible flare guns. First we have a Lake Erie Chemical Co. "Sedgley" 27mm known for its unique loading mechanism. Included in this lot is a Harrington & Richardson, "United States Property" marked "PISTOL, VERY, 10 GAUGE, M5". We have a rarely seen U.S. Navy MKII (NOT the more common MK III) single shot flare gun chambered in 10 gauge with matching S/N 60 and marked "NAVY YARD, N.Y.. Finally we have an extremely RARE Model 1882 brass Very or Flare pistol. They were originally manufactured in 1882 for the US Navy with an estimated production of only 100 ever made.
