All typed on White House stationery, all sent to JW in Hollywood, CA, including: 1) dated "January 5, 1973," reading in part "...have for-/warded the letter you enclosed to Secretary / of Agriculture Earl Butz, who has major / responsibility for our beef import policy," signed in black fountain pen ink "RN;" 2) dated "April 12, 1973," reading in part "I am sure you realize we have been negotiating / with the Panamanians for some years now... / I share your concerns and interest, and I will ask / Dr. Kissinger and his staff to take a fresh look...," signed in same manner, with original transmittal envelope; 3) dated "June 5, 1973," reading in part "I am confident that, working together, the / American people can achieve the great goals of / peace and progress which all of us seek," signed in same manner, with a transmittal envelope (though the postmark indicates it went with a different letter); 4) dated "April 17, 1974," reading in part "...I had the opportunity to / read a copy of the speech you gave before / the National Football Foundation's annual / awards dinner, and I personally thought it / was nothing less than superb," signed in same manner, with original transmittal envelope; and 5) dated"June 20, 1974," reading in part "Word has reached me of your spirited words of / support during your visit to Athens.
