Flown fabric presentation created by the Smithsonian Institution National Air and Space Museum featuring an affixed dark brown 1.25 x 2 swatch excised from the Fokker T-2 that Lts. Oakley G. Kelly and John A. Macready piloted on the first nonstop transcontinental flight of the United States in 1923. The swatch is affixed to its original 15 x 20 informational poster, which was later signed in black felt tip, "John A. Macready." Framed to a slightly larger size. In very good to fine condition, with light staining to the top of the poster.

John A. Macready (1887–1979) was an American test pilot and aviator, who was the only three-time recipient of the Air Force's Mackay Trophy for 'most meritorious flight of the year.' He was recognized with the honor for a high altitude flight in 1921, a 36-hour endurance flight in 1922, and the transcontinental flight in 1923.
