First Liberty Loan Converted 4 1/4% Gold Bond of 1932-1947 $100 May 9, 1918
This is a rare United States bond that is brilliantly colored with a blue underprint and a red Treasury seal and serial numbers. Thirty-two coupons remain attached. The back is a vivid orange highlighted by a gorgeous patriotic vignette. This bond is crackling fresh as the day it was originally folded with three lateral and one vertical fold. Bold embossing of the serial numbers on the coupons is also noticed. We sold a similar bond in the same grade for over $5000 in September 2003. Very Fine-Extremely Fine..

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
