<B>Rare First Lady Anna Harrison Autograph Letter Signed,</B></I> two pages, 8.25” x 10.75”, North Bend, Ohio, November 18, 1848, to Phebe Reeves, Long Island, New York. Health issues, family news and religion dominate this letter. An interesting aside mentions son Pike Harrison's absence given the recent war with Mexico. Anna Harrison (1775 - 1864), wife of President William Henry Harrison, was a tragic figure in that she was preparing for the journey to Washington when news of her husband's untimely death reached her.
