Manufactured in 1921. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "45 COLT" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the left side of the front and back strap under the grip. The loading gate and right rear of the frame are marked with the assembly number "695". Blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 70% original blue finish with wear on the muzzle, outer edge of the ejector housing, gray and brown patina on the front strap and minor spotting on the back strap. The cylinder shows a number of cycling scratches, as well as thin original blue finish. The frame retains 40% plus original case colors with a smooth mottled gray/brown patina. The grips have faded to brown and remain very good with a few minor scratches on the bottoms and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
