Manufactured in 1906 and subsequently refurbished later in the 20th Century. The right side of the post-war replacement barrel is marked with the one line "COLT'S MFG CO HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." , with "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the left. Two line, three patent dates on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt and the matching serial number is on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. Comes with an extra pair of simulated ivory grips.

Condition: Refinished with 98% blue finish remaining with some minor muzzle wear and a drag line on the cylinder. The frame retains 97% case colors. The grips are good overall, the left panel is a replacement and shows a few minor dents with crisp checkering and the right panel shows heavy wear with smoothing of the checkering. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The extra pair of grips are very good
