Made in 1902. Fixed sights, with the one line Hartford address and "45 COLT." on the barrel, two line/ three date patents and Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame, "W" above the firing pin hole, and "638" on the loading gate. Matching numbers on the frame and grip straps. Checkered Rampant Colt grips.

Condition: Refinished, showing cold brown touch-ups on the barrel, with traces of original blue in the protected areas, mixed brown and gray on the cylinder and grip straps, dull brown on the remainder and scattered pitting. The left side of the recoil shield is bright, with a mixed gray on the remainder of the frame. Grips are good, with a mended chip on the right toe and smoothed checkering. Half cock notch needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically functional.
