According to the included factory letter, this revolver was shipped as a single item to Montgomery Ward in Chicago, Illinois on 14 June 1913. The barrel is listed as 7 1/2", with grips "Not Listed", otherwise features match. Fixed sights, with the one line address on top of the barrel and "45 COLT" on the left. Smokeless powder frame, with the two line, two date patent markings on the left next to the Rampant Colt, "786" assembly number and "P" in the hammer cut. Grips are checkered hard rubber, with Rampant Colt imprints at the top.

Condition: Very good with a shorter factory replacement barrel, with 70% of the factory blue finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, strongest on the grip straps and in bands around the cylinder, bright edge wear and handling marks. Some cleaned light pitting is present on the grip straps, with illegible scratched markings on the butt. A silver color is showing on the frame, with traces of original color in the protected areas. Grips are good replacement, slightly oversized, with sharp checkering. Mechanically very good.
