Very interesting collection of five pieces of materials from the air and spacecraft which made historic first flights, with each piece of material measuring approximately .5 x .5. Pieces are from the Wright Flyer (first powered flight), Vin-Fiz (first flight across a continent), Curtiss NC-4 (first flight across an ocean), Chicago (first flight around the world), and a piece of skin from Apollo 11’s capsule Columbia (first landing on the moon). All are suede matted together with photos of the respective crafts, to an overall size of 32 x 11.
