<B>First Day Postal Covers Signed by Mercury Astronauts.</B></I> A selection of two first day covers measuring 6.5” x 3.75”, both postmarked Cape Canaveral, February 20, 1962, one being signed by Scott Carpenter and John Glenn, the other signed by Deke Slayton. Though Slayton was part of the original “Mercury Seven” astronauts he wouldn't he didn't fly in space until the last Apollo mission.
