This is a bronze cross with the five circles emblematic of the five wounds of Christ while on the cross of crucifixion. Worn by crusaders while defending the Holy Land for Christianity 1096-1099 AD. A COA from the Sadigh Gallery of Ancient Art, New York City is included. This item is listed as a learning tool and likely a reproduction fake. Sadigh Gallery was defamed when the owner was convicted of producing fakes for his gallery in 2021. It measures 2.25 in. overall length including the bail loop. The five circles are easily seen.
