Fr. CC-1. An attractive circulated example of the First Denomination on the First Continental Congress Currency Issue, at the very start of the American Revolutionary War. This paper money was authorized and printed by the Continental Congress less than one month after April 19th, 1775, when the “shot heard round the world” was fired on Lexington Green. This pleasing note has four very large even margins which provide excellent centering on both its face and back. All printed text and designs are clear making this an excellent example for collectors wishing to own America’s first “official” one dollar bill and currency note issue!
