Signers are: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, adding “1877”; Oliver Wendell Holmes, adding “Boston Jan. 11th 1878”; John Greenleaf Whittier; James Russell Lowell; and William Cullen Bryant, adding “January 15th, 1878.” In fine condition, with scattered light toning and soiling.
