This style was worn in various episodes including a Colonel in "The Train Job", a Commander in "Bushwacked" and "Safe", a captain in "Serenity Part 1" and a sergeant of Police in "Trash".
Original jacket worn by a high ranking member of "The Alliance" on the Joss Whedon created space Western drama television series 'Firefly' (2002-2003), which follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a "Firefly-class" spaceship.
The Alliance, formally known as the Union of Allied Planets, is a powerful fictional corporate supergovernment and law-enforcement organization in the Firefly franchise that controls the majority of territory within the known universe.
It won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2003 for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series.
