This fire-gilt four armed bronze figure of bodhisattva Vishvapani was made in Tibet and shows partly cold painting. The rendered Bodhisattva is a transcendent manifestation of the Buddha Amoghasiddhi and his symbol is the double lotus. In this case he is seated on a double, encircling lotus throne in padmasana with the soles of his feet turned upwards. His front left hand is holding a filled bowl, the front right hand is raised in to the chest and forms the vitarka mudra, the gesture of explanation. The two elevated hands on the back are holding further attributes.

The bodhisattva is adorned with opulent jewelry and wears a five-leaf crown on his head, which symbolizes the reign of the five elements. The finely chased hair behind the crown is modeled into a high topknot and strands of his hair are falling over the shoulders. The finely crafted face has a serene expression and is accented with color. The figure is sealed with a copper plate and with double vajra symbol.

The bronze is in good condition with merely light traces of age and wear, such as gold abrasion in some areas and minor notches. The figure measures 13.5 cm in height, 8.5 cm in width and 6 cm in depth.
