Right side of the buttstock has a Tula arsenal "(arrow in star)" makers mark and is dated either 1933 or 1938, with the last digit being difficult to read. The letters "A.K." have been carved into the left side of the buttstock, and measure .5" in height. Numbers do not match. No visible import marks. Condition overall is good, retaining approx. 40%-50% thinning and toning blue with areas of patina around the receiver, magazine, and buttplate. There are a few small rough spots visible forward of the chamber, rifling is good and clearly defined, grooves are dark. Est.: $700-$1,000. (C&R)
