It is rather rare and unusual to come across an open field Bokhara in the marketplace. The crisp and well defined elephant paw pattern and the intricate border design is a testament to the extreme fine weave,coupled with the super quality worsted wool pile. Please notice the extra skirt at both ends, celebrating the start and finish of the weaving process. It is noteworthy that the production of Bokhara Rugs have dwindled substantially in the past couple of years and therefor effecting their availability in the marketplace,making them subsequently more desirable and sought after.
