Finest quality authentic Persian royal Qum silk and Kork. Size 8.2 x 12.0 feet, made of fine quality silk and Kork (best quality lamb's wool) pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, this is a special rug in that it utilizes the highly sought after silk and Kork wool, which is so smooth yet very difficult to weave with. Only the most skilled carpet weavers are able to weave using silk and Kork wool, and this rug is no exception. With a beautiful floral pattern and intricately done border, a truly exceptional rug. This is a collector's item. Hand woven by a master weaver in Qum, Iran.
