Finely handcrafted Italian 12 gauge double barrel shotgun by Zoli & Rizzini showing 28" barrels 45-1/2" overall, low rise hand filed rib, single trigger, auto ejector, English style straight stock, checkered butt, serial#6391. The action is a box lock type and shows fine scroll engraving with chiseled rear of frame and pierced lever. The gun is stocked in a light colored European walnut and finely checkered. The gun is in finecondition showing 98-99% plus original blue and case hardening and very little if any use. The stock measures 14-1/2" to the end of the pull and is showing approx 1-1/2" drop at the comb to 2-1/4" drop at the heel withno cast. A fine and expensive shotgun showing master craftsmanship not to be confused with cheaper cousins by Zoli. Robert E. Petersen collection. Est.; $2,000-$4,000.
