Fine and rare CHARLES ROHLFS double pedestal desk, 1902, with four drawers to one side and bookshelf/cabinet to the other, with strap hinges, rough-sawn panels, and carved R medallion. Complete with tallback swiveling desk chair, carved with matching medallion and date, fleur-de-lys finial and tacked-on original red leather seat. Both pieces have an excellent original black finish with light overcoat, and original green interior. Missing support for cabinet shelf and several rivet heads, some wear around feet of chair.
