Colt New York City -marking. Dovetailed steel blade front sight. Blued, with color case-hardened hammer, frame and loading lever. U.S. Left side of frame marked:ColtsPatentU.S.Oil-finished walnut grips with JH inspector cartouche on left panel, and WAT on right panel. Various individual letter inspector stamps on various parts. Blued steel gripstraps, with rare small triggerguard.
