Fine. The barrel retains 50% original finish with the balance having a smooth plum patina. The remaining surfaces (except the loading gate) have been cleaned bright and now have a dull gray appearance. The wood is very fine overall with most of the original finish remaining, several overall scattered minor dings, scratches and dents. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The scabbard is about good with areas of the outer "skin" scuffed off, white cleaner residue and tight stitching.
