Very fine. The barrel retains approximately 40% original brown finish with the balance a light gray patina, with 30% faded casehardening on the lock plate and strong traces of niter blue on the trigger guard. The brass has a mellow aged patina with some fine surface scratches. Some large gouges and dents are visible on the forearm area of the stock, with legible cartouches and some minor dings and dents overall. The markings are crisp. Mechanically fine. A very nice Mississippi Rifle in better than average condition.
