Over 470 lots of Oceanic, Southeast Asian, Egyptian, Roman, North American art and antiquities, Aborigional Australian Art and Artifacts.
The highlights include: An excellent collection of ethnographic African sculpture and masks, superb Khmer stone sculpture from Cambodia; early Australian Aboriginal artifacts, paintings on bark and canvases; rare Egyptian and Roman, Islamic and Indus Valley antiquities; a rare collection of Southeast Asian antiquities from China and Burma, dating from 4000 – 2000 years BC sold with certificates of scientific date analysis; a collection of 3rd century Gandharan stone and stucco sculpture; an outstanding range of material culture and early artifacts from Polynesia, including sculpture, weaponry and body ornaments from the Pacific basin.
