Produced without sights, with the top of the barrel marked "LONDON", a set of three proofmarks (including 2 crossed scepters) on the upper left side, and a 10 3/4 inch long triangular bayonet with deep fuller, sliding lock on the tang, and a roller equipped spring. Light decorative engraving is present on the fenced flash pan, hammer and lock, the latter marked "-SPENCER-" and equipped with a sliding half-cock safety and roller frizzen spring. Checkered straight wrist stock, with a horn tipped ramrod/wad extractor, engraved brass trigger guard with acorn finial, and an engraved brass buttplate.

Condition: Fine. A mixed gray and brown patina has formed on the barrel, with traces of the casehardened pattern still present on the lock assembly, and a well aged patina on the brass. The stock is very fine, some minor scattered dents, along with sharp checkering and most of the varnish. The bayonet spring remains strong, and the action is fine. These blunderbusses are usually not found in this fine of condition!
