Fine Pre-War German Double Rifle, by Sempert & Kreighoff, Suhl, 9.3x72R cal., 23-11/16'' barrels with maker's mark to top rib in gold, matted rib with Express sight,circular ''Krupp Stahl'' markings to both barrels at breech, crown-''U'' and crown-''N'' proofmarks, and recepticle for double-claw scope mounts; double adjustable triggers with horn triggerguard, case hardened frame, with light banknote engraving to sidelock panels, ''Sicher'' in gold to upper tang indicating ''Safe'', double platina bands at both breeches, as well as facing side of rear sight in the form of a triangle and tipping the front bead. Fine splinter forend with horn tip and very slight Schnauble. High comb stock is in an abbreviated Monte Carlo style with low thin cheekpiece; serrated buttplate is of horn; sling swivels are present. Condition is excellent with original case hardened colors to frame and sideplate, thinning and toning to a pleasing mellow silver. Barrels with only slight wear a!
