Offered to you in this lot is a finely woven, Navajo Native American Indian pictorial Yei rug. The rug is composed of mineral dyed wool, and displays a nice tight weave. The rug portrays three ceremonial Yei medicine man dancers, flanked by turquoise colored maze stalks, and accented by a natural khaki colored background. The border of the rug shows a fantastic black & white geometric border. The rug is believed to originate from the early to mid 1900's, and shows good condition overall, the rug does show some light, scattered staining however. Without the access length of the tassels, the rug measures 59" wide, and 36 1/2" tall.
