Manufactured circa 1864 to 1870. Blade front and V-notched hammer rear sights and manufactured without the extractor. The cylinder is marked "D.WILLIAMSON'S PATENT JANUARY 5, 1864 D.WILLIAMSON". The barrel has no visible address. There is a small hinged loading gate on the right side of the blue barrel ahead of the cylinder and an engraved leaf pattern on the lug with embellishments at the muzzle and cylinder. The blue cylinder has an engraved line along the front and rear edge. The silver plated frame has a scroll and leaf design.

Very fine. The revolver retains approximately 40% of the original blue finish (strongest on the cylinder) with the balance a crisp brown-gray patina. The barrel has some dried lubricate (mostly on lug) and a few patches of minor spotting. The frame retains approximately 95% of the darkened original silver plating. The grips are very fine with the exception of a repaired chip (left panel) and some scattered very light scratches. The engraving is clear and crisp. Action needs trigger return spring, otherwise fine.
