Fine Grandfather Clock by Thomas Page of Norwich, the mahogany case is shell and sunburst inlay in satinwood on a holly inset ground, the case is supported by ogee feet, the arched dial has a trellis piercing to the top with reverse bell formed finials, the arched brass sprandelled dial has a date aperture and seconds indicator, eight day striking movement, circa 1760, (Thomas Page is well recorded as a premier maker of longcase clocks in Norwich from 1736 to 1777, after that date he was in partnership with John Christian), (see illustration)
