Fine GRIFFIN & HOWE signed and numbered #619 pre-war sporting rifle in 7x57 Mauser cal., with pre war commercial Mauser action. Barrel is stamped "Poldi-Anticorro" with trademark . Finely made checkered select walnut stock, raised andmilled rib on barrel, quick release floor plate gold inlaid "TWPL" in large block letters with milled steel butt plate. Showing trap Griffin & Howe quick disconnect side mount and Lyman receiver sight on right side of action withaperture removed. Near fine condition showing just normal use and storage. Nice figuring in wood. A classic Griffin & Howe rifle which could be researched through this well known American outfitter. Est. $2,500-$5,000.
