<B>Fine G.A.R. Medal Group</B></I> A fine set of four (4) medals and ribbons worn by Civil War veterans at various encampments and meetings of the Grand Army of the Republic. Includes an unusual celluloid ribbon bearing images of the American flag and various G.A.R. insignia. Also includes a multi bar ribbon from "Co. A 100 Ohio Vol. Inf." together with a nice silk ribbon bearing Lincoln's image honoring the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg from the 1913 encampment, the last of the great reunions. Ribbons overall good with some fraying, medals bear a few minor faults.
