Fine. The barrels retain approximately 40% of the Damascus pattern (strongest on the rib). The action and forearm hardware retain approximately 40% of the case colors (strongest on the locks and forearm hardware) with the balance a smooth gray patina. The break lever and trigger guard retain approximately 60% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The buttplate has a smooth gray patina with some minor oxidation. Overall the shotgun has some minor spotting. The oiled wood is very fine with the exception of a few absent chips, some mild dings and scratches and some scattered spotting (mostly on the buttstock).
