Fine. The revolver has 50% plus of the bright original blue finish. There is moderate handling wear on the sides of the frame, cylinder and barrel with more finish wear on the grip straps. The vivid case colors are nearly all present on the loading lever and hammer. The rear of the cylinder face and percussion nipples have most of the original blue finish and no flash pitting. The grip is very fine with crisp cartouches and inspection marks showing minimal handling and storage wear. The action is crisp and functions well. A fine example of one of the most advanced revolvers issued during the Civil War.
